In Germany the Messe Berlin GmbH is represented by halls with an exhibition area of 160,000 sqm and an outdoor exhibition area of 100,000 m². Messe Berlin GmbH is the sixth largest trade fair company.
The area is seperated in two locations:
The Expo Center City, which houses many international trade fairs on its 160,000 sqm is located in the city center. Another new terrain, the Berlin Expo Center Airport is located outside and near the capital's future airport BER.
Every year about 94 fairs and exhibitions with 30 796 guests and about 1.98 million are organized in Germany and internationally (2011).

The fair InnoTrans is the international meeting place for those who have to do with the passenger and freight transport. It exists since 1996 and is considered a leading trade fair for transport technology and vehicle systems. In the year 2012 2450 exhibitors from 47 countries and 126 110 visitors were represented at InnoTrans.
